14U Tryouts

North Clackamas Yellow Jackets 14U will be holding tryouts for fall 2008 and spring 2009 on Tue 8/12 and Thur 8/14 from 6:00 to 8:00pm at North Clackamas Park please be there by 5:45 to register. Our goal is to field a 14A team for the spring 2009. We will play a full tournament schedule with plans on playing 14A State and 14A Western Nationals in Mt Vernon Wa. Softball Excellence Clinic for ALL Coaches

Coaches Come ONE Come ALL; this years Softball Excellence Clinic will be held in Keizer on Saturday the 25th and in Roseburg on Sunday the 26th. The Location(s) will be posted as soon as I have them, if you attend this clinic, you will not need to take the online test in 2009. You can attend one or both days, it is up to you. This is one of The VERY BEST Clinics you can attend. Last year with only 4 days notice we had over 75 people attend. Please work it into your schedule.

Local Tryouts for a 14U B/A '08 Fall & '09 Summer Team

Canby Wildcats will be holding an open tryout for the Fall 2008 and Spring 2009 season for a first year 14UA/B program. We are looking for dedicated softball families that are ready to move to the next level including indoor batting/pitching facility, speed and agility training, resistance/weight training, and nutrition programs to enhance athletic ability. Tryout will be Sunday, August 10th at Maple St. Park in Canby from 1-4pm and Wednesday evening, August 13th from 6-8pm. 2008 Chris Estes Memorial Tournament

Since we were rained out on Memorial Day, I had been given the go ahead by the powers that be at ASA to make-up the Tourney anytime. Unfortunately, we are unable to get the park for anytime that will work and not interfere with other Tournaments that many have already signed up for.

Everyone, please keep fingers crossed and hope that next year we have better luck. We will NOT go 2 years in a row without having this Tournament.

Thanks for all of you who wanted to participate and your patience in trying to make it work even into August. I am sorry I cannot make it happen!

SOFTBALL EXCELLENCE TESTING IS ONLINE now. 1st yr. through 7th yr. can be taken online thru www.oregon-asa.com, the video for the 1st year is accessible thru oregon-asa.com also, If you haven’t taken your test please do so or you will be removed from the League schedule! Everyone should have their invoices into Rich (ASA Rep) by now (4/21) if not, you will not be able to play in League and any Tournaments you are signed up for may not take you, so get your INVOICES turned in.
